The St Arnaud and District ww1 diary 1914-1918 has been written in diary format as a body of the work was compiled from articles in the St Arnaud Mercury Newspaper . The diary therefore identifies soldiers, sailors, airmen and nurses who were born in , enlisted from , worked in ,or had families living in St Arnaud or in the smaller local communities in the surrounding districts, but as there was a large number of local soldiers and nurses identified the diary only gives detailed information on those local people who died, or who were invalided home during the period 1914-1918. The book has over 350 coloured pages
